Bergslitræet is a highlited location on the Bergsli Trail and the home where the brothers and artists Knut and Brynjulf Bergslien grew up.

Their most famous artwork:
The historical painting "Skiing Birchlegs Crossing the Mountain with the Royal Child" (1869) by Knud Bergslien.
The bronze equestrian statue of King Carl Johan (1875) in front of the Royal Palace in Oslo, by Brynjulf Bergslien.

In their former home you will find more information about their lives and artwork.

Opening hours:
01.06 - 31.08.13: Every Sunday from 13:00 - 16:00.

Transportation


There is no car road to Bergslitræet. You can park you car at either Voss Courthouse, at the suspension brigde "Tintro" or across the road from Park Hotell. At all tre places you'll find an information board showing a map over Prestegardsmoen, the area in which Bergslidtræet is situated. Walk the short distance to the house from the parking.
