Maihaugen is a wonderful place for families! In the summer time there are many activites for children.

It's fun to visit the animals in the fields. Maihaugen has goats, cows, horses, sheep and pigs. You can also feed the ducks or cuddle rabbits.

In the lake by the mountain farms children may fish with bamboo rods.

The playground in the residential area with houses of recent times, is also a place kids want to stop.

The open air museum is nice for both walks and playtime all year-round. In the winter the animals are in the barn at Maihaugen, and some days there is open barn and you may visit.
