Start- and endingpoint: The Elvers lake by the old road over the Røldal mountains. Exit from E134 by Røldal ski resort and drive 4,5km, parking available. Alternative route from Seljestad: exit from E134 approx. 200m before the Seljestad road tunnel, drive 4,5km. 

Tour description: This hike takes you up to the high mountains, and snow will still be present at some locations on the route. Incredible views and great valley landscapes with the many lakes on the path to Hallet Grøne (green valley). Some pathways and old stairs seen on the route, work carried out by the habitants of Røldal working at the Sands lake with lake construction and later working as watchmen on the lake.
