The climbing forest is located in Evje at Mineral Park. It is perfectly situated in natural forest with Pine trees, mountains and the fjord, surrounding the park. The activities are between 1 and 8 metres above the ground. There are a total of 18 different activities for children in the Discovery Park and 34 for teenagers and adults in the Grand Park.  The climbing forest is unique as it has 4 ziplines all crossing water and all over 200 m long. Welcome to Evje and a trip on the Climbing Forest.





Discovery park
- for adults and children over 1 metre or 4 years.
The Discovery Park is challenging and lots of fun for all ages.  The safety line system is a continuous line and is the first of this type to be built in Norway. The Discovery Park has 18 different activities and finishes with a 70 metre long zip wire.  It takes between 30 minutes to 1 hour to complete 2 circuits of the course.  An adult has to accompany children under 7 years of age.

The area surrounding the Climbing Forest is ideal for picnics and bathing.  We recommend that you take a trip int the exciting Mineral Park. It is possible to purchase refreshments in the parks cafes and also souvenirs in the shop. Outdoor clothing and jogging shoes recommended.

GrandPark
- for adults and teenagers over 140 cm in height.
 
The mighty river Otra meanders into a pretty sandy bay providing the perfect location for a Climbing park.  The trees in the forest are over 100 years old.  The south facing beach area and surrounding rocky peninsula has been a historical gathering place for centuries.  The Grand park has 35 different activities.  All are built into the trees between 4 – 8 metres high. There are 4 zip wires, each is approximately 200 metres long and all cross the bay.  The view from the tree tops is stunning and the location of the “Klatreskogen” is without doubt an area of outstanding natural beauty.   The water is crystal clear and on a calm day you can see fish swimming on the bottom of the river as you fly across the zip wires.  Trips on the course begin every 30 minutes and the park will take between 1,5 to 2,5 hours to complete.  Each participant must take a compulsory safety course of 15 minutes prior to starting the course.  The are several instructors out in the park who will ensure the safety rules are followed as you move from activity to activity. These activities include; rope bridges, Tarzan swings, ladders, balance activities, nets and zip wires.
