Description

The peak Nysæternakken in the Ørskogfjell mountains offers a short but easy accessible hike of apx 1,3 kilometers. The trail is a bit steep up from the road, where it begins close to Fjellstova (café and accommodation by the road E39). Allthough this is a short hike with only about 230 meters height gain (from 330 to 549 m.a.s.l.), you'll get a great mountain experience.

In the Ørskogfjell area, you'll find lots of different trails, through picturesque valleys, along calm lakes, passing summer farms and with higher peaks to reach for those who want a bit more challenge.
