The Pilgrims' Route to Trondheim

The old Pilgrims' Route between Oslo and Nidaros Cathedral in Trondheim was reopened the summer of 1997.


When you leave the city centre («Midtbyen») and cross the Old Town Bridge, you arrive in Bakklandet – a picturesque and popular part of Trondheim.

The Stjørdal River

The Stjørdal River, with its tributaries Forra and Sona, offers 85 kilometres of high quality fishing. It has many similarities with the River Tweed.

Trondheim is situated in Trøndelag and is easily accessible from all parts of the country.
