Scandic Lerkendal is one of the largest convention facilities in the Nordic region.At 75 metres, the hotel is also Norway's tallest building outside of Oslo. The hotel has opened 5 August 2014. Scandic Lerkendal is in close proximity to Lerkendal football stadium in Trondheim. Lerkendal is located in the middle of one of the city's growing commercial and educational areas, only a short drive from the centre of Trondheim.The hotel is Norway's largest facility for meetings and conferences, with a capacity of 23,000 people (in partnership with Lerkendal stadium). We have up to 50 meeting rooms, including a large conference hall that is the biggest in the city at 1 420 m², which can be divided into three equal parts. In addition, all the VIP lodges at the Lerkendal stadium is part of our conference offering. Scandic Lerkendal's capacity is between 10 and 1,800 people. Hotel Scandic Lerkendal is built as the world's most energy-efficient hotel, with an energy consumption of 50 kwh/m²/year.
