Description

The 25th national park in Norway was opened here the summer 2005. The national park covers an area of 600 km².

The national park centre has been opened in Rosendal to provide information about the national park and tips about how you can go about exploring Folgefonna National Park.

Come visit us and see the wonderful photos from the Folgefonna glacier in the centre.

Here you can also learn more about how the landscape is shaped the way it is from "The Drama of the mountains", a film about the geological history of the area.
