The top of Skeikampen is a great starting point for several hikes this summer. What about a break in Galten Kafé? Start your hike easy by taking the chair lift to the top.

The stunning view from the top of Skeikampen is for everybody! Enjoy the view all the way to Jotunheimen and down to the glittering surface of lake Mjøsa!
The mountains around Skeikampen have been a popular recreation area for for many generations. Today there are a large network of well-marked trails that await you.

Take a look at the various hiking trails here

From July 5th to October 4th, the chair lift will run every Saturday from 10.00-15.00
In week 40, Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd, the chair lift will run extra.
Tickets can be purchased in Velkomstsenteret.

The chair lift is equipped with hooks for hanging on bikes, so you can also take your bike with you up.

Stunning Galten Kafé is also open during these Saturdays. The café is situated perfectly in the terrain with a large and lovely sun terrace, 1100 meters above sea level. Here you can enjoy, among other, hot chocolate, coffee, homemade waffles and snacks. Or some refreshing soda.
