Paulsrud Farm

Book

Paulsrud is a working dairy farm in the Lillehammer region of Norway, with milk production year round. We have 3 beautiful old-style cabins available on the property.

Paulsrud is a charming dairy farm 26 km northwest of Lillehammer. We have 3 cozy and rustic cabins available on premises, and a summer farm in the mountains 20kms away that can house 1-10 people comfortably. The buildings at Paulsrud farm were built between 1700 and 1800 and we have kept everything as close to traditional as possible. Paulsrud farm is a very child friendly environment with wonderfully kind cats, sheep and hens. Plus our cows and calves live on the premises in the barn and out on our pastures! There are also many possibilities for hiking, cycling, and cross-country skiing right from your door!

At Paulsrud we frequently bake fresh bread in a wood-fired stone oven right on the grounds. Fresh and hot baked bread right from the oven is for sale for our overnight guests, along with crunchy scones, fresh milk, eggs and homemade strawberry jam.

Paulsrud wishes to welcome you to fine days on the farm with soft beds, good books, incredible views and steaming fresh milk and bread.

«A thousand thank you`s! It was an unforgettable visit at your farm. I enjoyed the unusually beautiful views from your farm, the fresh air, the sounds of cow bells, fresh milk and all your animals. I warmly recommend a stay at Paulsrud farm. As soon as we have time I would love to come back!» J.B Ommunsen.

«Paulsrud is absolutely indescribable! Fantastic hospitality for on a sunny summer day! What a view you have on your Mountain farm. Ingeborg-stua was my favorite room. The feeling from the walls and floors painted in light colors is a salve for the soul. The oldtime feeling on the farm is easy to enjoy and believe brought up good memories from my grandmothers time. Thank  you for the hard work you have done to bring out and show the farmers experience both in and out. The cow bells, the fresh milk, first class service and food, everything was just amazing! I hope that guests from both Norway and abroad decide to experience Paulsrud.»
