Description

Holmenkollstafetten is an annual running relay with 15 legs that starts at Bislett stadium, goes up to Holmenkollen and returns back at the stadium. The race is open to everyone - professionals, businesses and other groups.

Over 50,000 teams with more than 750,000 runners have participated in Holmenkollstafetten altogether.

The athletics club Tjalve IK has organised the relay in May every year since 1923.
