Description

Fjordcamp is idyllically situated on the Vesterålen coastline with the mighty Norwegian Sea and it's rich, plentiful fish resources and well known winter fishing season (skrei-fisket), on the doorstep.
Our cabins are located right down by the sea with the boats moored just 30 metres away. After your fishing trip, you can either prepare the catch yourself or make arrangements with our chef in the restaurant on the quayside. You can eat your own freshly caught fish dinner whilst enjoying the view over the fjord, the northern lights and star filled sky in wonderful unspoilt natural surroundings.

Very good fishing all year round with seasonal varieties. Halibut, cod, coalfish, haddock, redfish, ling, mackerel, herring, flounder, cusk, catfish and monkfish.

We have 34 cabins, 2 adapted for disabled needs, for 2 to 12 people. In total 126 beds. 15 boats (from 14-17 ft, 20-40 hp.) are available for hire.

Sonar and GPS on all boats. 1 boat adapted for a wheelchair. Authentic coastal fishing just as it has been practiced over many generations on a fishing boat for up to 8 passengers.

Outhouse for cutting, cleaning and preparing your catch with cold store available for hire.
