Description

Join us in the search for whales, seals, eagles, birds and sea otters!

From Ice-age to Viking-age

A RIB takes us from Harstad and towards the Sundsvoll strait and Bjarkøy Island. While looking for the arctic marine wildlife, we will tell you about the area’s history from the Ice Age to the Viking Age. An example being Tore Hund`s chieftain seat at Øvergården in Nergårdshamn. After an hour we will step ashore at “Midgard” for some lunch.

Fiords, mountains and maybe whales?

After lunch we will take the RIB towards Senja Island and Andfjorden to look for whales, seals and other Marine wildlife. The mountains and fiords provide a stunning backdrop for your Arctic Marine Experience.

Good footwear for the season is recommended. We will equip you with warm suits for the RIB tour. Your camera is an absolute must on this trip!
