The Cabins: In total there are 6 cabins on our campsite: 1x 6- 8 persons cabin 2x: 2 persons cabin 3x: 3-9 persons cabin With the exception of the 2 persons cabins, all cabins are luxuriously equipped and perfectly suitable for a prolonged stay. All these cabins have a shower, toilet, kitchen, television, sitting area with a separate dining table and under floor heating. The 3-6 persons cabins have 1 bedroom for 3 persons as well as a sofa bed in the living room. The 6-8 persons cabin has 2 bedrooms for 3 persons and an attic which suits 4 persons. The kitchens are equipped with a refrigerator, hot plate, oven, cooker hood, automatic coffee maker and crockery. Furthermore the cabins are almost directly located at the fjord. From your own terrace you can enjoy the wonderful view of the Norefjord. The 2- persons cabins are simply furnished with a bunk bed, sitting area, hot plate and a refrigerator. You need to bring your own sheets, sleeping bags or duvets. Though you can also rent linen on the campsite. Near all the cabins there is plenty of space to park one or more cars.

Fjordgløtt Campsite in Rødberg, Norway

Fjordgløtt means 'fjord view' and is situated directly at the Norefjord, a large lake between Nore and Rødberg. The campsite is located 3,73 miles south of Rødberg, part of the council of 'Nore og Uvdal' and only 1600 metres from the E40, the motorway from Kongsberg to Geilo. The campsite borders on the 'Hardangervidda Nature park', a beautiful area where you can walk, ski (cross country). This is the largest mountain plateau in Europe. The campsite has availability for 75 caravans, campers and tents and there is electricity on all pitches.

On our campsite we have a very modern and luxurious sanitary with showers, toilets, sauna and a solarium. Furthermore we have an on site camping store and for the children there is a large play area with a trampoline, a swing etc..

As previously mentioned, the Fjordgløtt campsite is situated directly at a large lake: Norefjord. Besides swimming this is the perfect place to go fishing on e.g. trout. In Winter you may even go ice fishing! On the campsite you can rent boats, canoes and water bikes. For the children's safety we rent life jackets.

How do I get to Fjordgløtt Camping og Hytesenter? The campsite is situated on the RV 40, the motorway from Kongsberg to Geilo. From Kongsberg it is about one hour drive and from Geilo it is about 45 minutes drive. Coming from Oslo, via Drammen and Kongsberg it takes about 2,5 hours. Fjordgløtt Camping og Hytesenter is about 3,73 miles south of Rødberg. On the RV 40, the exit “Vrenne” and “Fjordgløtt Camping og Hytesenter” is clearly sign posted. After you have taken this exit you follow this road, via the powerplant and fishfarm, until you see the campsite after about 1 miles.
