Description

From November to January humpback whales and killer whales visit the fjords around Tromsø to feed on herring.

We start the trips at Lauklines Kystferie in Kattfjorden, west side of Kvaløya. The advantages of this area are that it is usually close to the whales and the fjord is less exposed to the weather than other areas.

Besides humpback whales and killer whales, we often see porpoises, dolphins, mink whales and sea eagles.

We cannot guarantee the sighting of whales on all of our trips. But last winter whales were visible in the fjord every day from late November to mid-January.

The trips starts 10:00, lasts approx. 3 hours and includes flotation suits, coffee / tea.

The trips starts 10:00 AM from lauklines and lasts approx. 3 hours.
Please note that the trips are available only in the period of December - January. You can do your booking for 2014/15 already now.

Price Whale watching from Lauklines NOK. 1250,-/pers.
Price transport Tromsø-Lauklines-Tromsø  NOK. 595,- /pers
Price Whale watching incl. transport Tromsø-Laukines and Return NOK. 1.845,- / pers.
