Tour description - experience

Snota is one of the most beautiful peaks in Trollheimen . With its 1668 meters Snota is the highest mountain around Folldalen and Vindøladalen . Most people who go up to Snota comes from Trollheimshytta or Gråhaugen, but a trip from Vindøladalen provides a great opportunity to combine cycling and hiking .

Tour description - where do you walk / bike / paddle / ski

From the parking area at Pebua you can cycle over 7 km along the road towards Vassdalsvatnet . You can park the bike at the end of the gravel road, and continue up the tractor to Vassdalsvatnet . At Trimposten continues up steep easterly direction, is partially path completely. At the top , follow the height until Litjsnota . Here you pass west of the summit and down the marked trail up from Gråhaugen showing the way to the top.
Do you want another and longer trip down it is useful to go about Snotvatnet and around the south side of Snota down to Vassdalsvatnet , GPS tracks for this trip is in the same file as Snota

Start Location

Take the RV 65 between Surnadal and Rindal . Approximately 9 km east of Skei Surnadal the signs to Vindøldalen . Follow the toll road about 11 km to the car park at Pebua
