Nordmarka Forest Marathon

Contact information

Description

Normarka Forest Marathon is one of the biggest and best marathons in Norway. The start/finish of the course is on the grounds of Norges Idrettshøyskole (sports college) near lake Sognsvann.

Most of the course is on even dirt roads; a short portion follows a narrow path. The course has a relatively tough profile, but takes place in a scenic environment, away from the concrete jungle. The challenge for most of the competitors lies in completing the course rather than pursuing a record time. Enjoy the beautiful sorroundings and plentiful refreshments along the track!
