4 day Dog sledge expedition to Basecamp Nordenskiöld

This is the tour for you who want to experience a long dog sledging expedition into the true arctic land, but does not want to sleep over in a tent. The expedition starts from Longyearbyen continuing north wards to Tempelfjorden and to our unique Basecamp Ship in the Ice. We will spend our first night on the 100 years old schooner, before continuing deeper into the north towards Nordenskiöld Glacier and Basecamp Nordenskiöld. We will spend the next two nights at the cabin making dog sledging trips over sharp mountains, shiny glaciers and frozen fjords. No previous knowledge of dog sledging is needed, though it can be helpful during the expedition.
