This year - 2014, it is 200 years since the Constitution was written in Norway and Norway was declared an independent nation.

The newly restored Eidsvollbygningen, with its striking color brilliance and beautiful interiors. With a brand new Democracy Centre for young audiences deals are numerous, and the museum wants jubilee guests  welcome to a plethora of adventures on historic ground.
Price adult NOK 100,- child NOK 50,-

You can tqke the train to eidsvoll Verk station and from there it is about 1,5 km to walk.
Best Western Letohallen is the closest hotell to stay.
