Description

With Norwegian mountains and majestic nature as the scenery, the Peer Gynt Festival is a nine-day celebration with 35 events, concerts, exhibitions, lectures and the grand theatre performance "Peer Gynt" by lake Gålåvatnet.

The festival takes place in the Gudbrandsdalen valley, where the stories about Per Gynt come from, and which inspired Henrik Ibsens dramatic poem "Peer Gynt".

The festival will give visitors a good insight into the Norwegian spirit, through nature, culture and traditions.
