The holiday house is located at the foot of the Lynge Alps in the small place Kvalvik, 8 km south of Lyngseidet. The holiday house is a modern house, newly renovated spring 2014, with room for 8 people. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, bath, two toilets and a big livingroom where you as a guest can relax.

Description

Drivin south from Lyngseidet along Rv868, you will arrive in Kvalvik. Kvalvik is a small village between the Lyngenfjord and the Lyngenalps. Here you will find the holiday house Heimstad Gård, which was newly renovated spring 2014. From the terrace you have a great view of the Lyngen Alps and along the tractor road it is only 400 m to the fjord.

The holiday house is a modern house and has room for 8 persons. Each of the 4 bedrooms has two single beds. In addition to the bedrooms, the first floor has a toilet with a sink. On the ground floor is the hallway, a bathroom with a shower, washingmashine and dryer, as well as a living room and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a dishwasher as well. In the livingroom you hava sofa, TV and diningtable.

Nearby is Heimstad Farm, which you can visit and see how life at a farm is.

Winterstime you’ll find a skiing trail nearby. Kvalvik is a great place to see the northern lights dancing across the sky at night.

During summer you can start you hike just outside the door and continue up the valley. In the evening you can sit outside and enjoy the sunset.

To Lyngseidet, the closest bigger village, it is exactly 8,4 km. There you will find among other two supermarkets, a sportsshop, a bank, petrolstation and a touristinformation. The ferry across the Lyngenfjord to Olderdalen leaves from here. Also on the ferrypier is the busstop for the bus south to Tromsø and north to Storslett/Alta.
