Sudeshna Bhattacharya is one of her generation's most successful Sarod musicians. In 2001 Sudeshna won the prize "Best Indian Musician" and in 2002 the award "Best Performing Artist in India." She will be accompanied on stage by tabla virtuoso Apurba Mukherjee from Kolkata, India.
