Description

Canyoning is the active exploration of territories that are largely unknown. Canyoning trips generally include hiking, swimming, wading and jumping your way on a journey of between 4 and 10 kilometers, depending on the canyon. The river is crossed by wading or swimming, a good chance to ride the waves. There’s also a chance to explore caves and potholes and to try cliff-jumping up to twelve meters.

Climbing and abseiling are also available on some expeditions.

Heidal Rafting can supply wet suits, helmets and lifejackets. We’ll bring hot drinks, but remember to bring lunch. Take thermal underwear, woolen socks and sturdy shoes that can withstand getting wet, and a towel to shower after your trip.

Season: May-October. Price: from 990kr pp. Minimum age: 15 years. Time: 09.00 to 14.00.
