In this third part of the exhibition series where the Astrup Fearnley Museum highlights some of their collection's most important artists, Jens Johannessen (b. 1934) will be presented.

Johannessen has since his breakthrough in the mid-1960s reinforced his position as one of the country's most prominent painters through exhibitions both at home and abroad.

At a time when art went from modern to postmodern, Johannessen developed his artistic methods using techniques of collage and décollage.

Curators : Gunnar B. Kvaran and Therese Möllenhoff.
