Description

The Queen Joséphine Gallery is part of Oscarshall on Bygdøy. The gallery was officially opened by Queen Sonja on 13 June 2013, and is located in the annex of Oscarshall's museum shop.

The gallery is named after King Oscar I's queen, Queen Joséphine. Both King Oscar and Queen Joséphine took a great interest in art, and laid the foundation for the fine collection of older Norwegian art at the Royal Palace today.

Free entrance.
