Description

Oslo Airport is located at Gardermoen, 47 km north of Oslo. It is the largest airport in Norway and took over as the main Oslo Airport in 1998. From Gardermoen there are direct routes to 24 Norwegian and 84 international destinations, as well as about 80 charter destinations.

There are excellent connections from the region to Oslo Airport with the Airport Express Train (Flytoget), NSB's inter-city and local trains, the SAS Airport Bus and Flybussekspressen. There is multi-storey car park with 3.500 spaces and an outdoor ground level car park divided into 5 areas with 7.900 spaces for long-term parking. There are free shuttle buses regularly going to and from the terminal building. The car parks are open 24 h. The rental companies Avis, Budget/SIXT, Europcar and Hertz have desks in the Arrival area, near the railway station.

Oslo Airport offers a number of shops, cafes, restaurants and travel-related services. Opening hours may vary, but the duty-free shop is open 24 hours, and is located in the International Departures hall and in the International Arrival hall. Global Refund desk in the Departure hall.

There is a staffed information desk in the Arrival hall. Passenger services, hotel reservation and tourist information services is available here. Wireless Internet is available in all public areas of the terminal.
