Description

Sollid Gard & Hytter (farm and cabins) is situated in Vågå District, in the heart of the Norwegian mountain country. It is located within a tranquil mountain area at 2600 feet above sea level, offering a good starting point for walking in Jotunheimen and for day trips, for instance to the West of Norway. Close by you will find the Besseggen Ridge, Galdhøpiggen and Glittertind mountains, the Sjodalen and Heidal valleys and the River Sjoa.

Sollid Gard & Hytter offers three high-standard cabins, sleeping up to 26 in all. It is suitable both for families and for larger groups. Sollid Farm is an attractive working farm, combining dairy and some beef cattle production with farm tourism.

The cabins lie at 2600 feet above sea level, amidst beautiful surroundings at the foot of the Jotunheimen mountains. There are plenty of signposted walking paths and skiing tracks in the area and a five-minute drive the nearest alpine ski centre (in winter). 3 cabins of 650 square feet,
Including toilet and shower, and large kitchen. Each cabin sleeps 8. Separate service building contains washing machine, drying facilities and freezer.
