Description

This is where you'll find Jæren's Nordic skiing and biathlon facility, and play slopes for snow-filled fun. Lighted trails.

Explore the forest and nature path or try your luck with the fishing rod. Take a break in the heated hut or the bivouac to eat your packed lunch. Or take time to gather your thoughts in the chapel.

The Recreation Centre consists of a heated hut and a chapel. Religious services are held on the first Sunday of every month in the open-air chapel at 11am, but it is open around the clock. Spring and autumn concerts are also held here. The bivouac is ideal for day or overnight trips. Barbecue sites and fishing spots throughout the area. Free fishing.

Access: Brekko lies 45 km south of Stavanger. Follow highway E39 to Vaula bridge south of Ålgård, turn off where the signs indicate the road to Brekko. Parking fee NOK 20.
