Description

Urådalen is a conservation area where you can see the remainder of the oak forest that covered most of Jæren about 2000 years ago.

This valley also contains a lush deciduous forest of temperate trees, with a flourishing flora and fauna. This area is home to Sæland nature reserve, which you pass through on your way to Urådalen. Furthest in lies Bjødnalia, an abandoned upland farm that was in use until 1907.

The area is ideal for family walks and outings. Parking at Sæland by Fv201 between Undheim and Ålgård.
