Description

Eide (146 km2) is a mainland municipality between Kristiansund and Molde. The municipality stretches from the Hustadvika bay, along the southern side of the Kornstadfjord and the north part of the Romsdal peninsula. Stone industry is the most typical trade, but other types of industry and agriculture is also important. Besides the Atlantic Road, you can also visit Stable Eriklia which has a big herd of Nordland horses and many other animals. Cavehike in the Troll Church or birdwatching in the Gaustadvågen bay are other activities in Eide. There are many arrangements in the Eide Hall througout the year.
