Description

The Silsetfjellet mountain area has a long history as a popular destination for excursions from the whole district. There you will find good, marked paths/skiing tracks passing through a varied landscape, including several mountain pastures and the mountain farm at Stokkåsen. The area is well suited for family outings both in summer and winter. Summer: A toll road all the way. Winter: Approx. 45 minutes on skis. The Silsethytta cabin, centrally located in the area, is both a destination for day trips and a place to stay overnight. It can be rented by arrangement.
