Historically speaking, export of salted and dried fish has been of great importance for the development of the whole region. “The national dish” in Kristiansund is still bacalao which means cod in Spanish. Bjartmars Favorittkro serves tasteful food with local ingredients and is located at the north end of the Atlantic Road. Experience the taste of clipfish here or at one of the 22 other places selling clipfish on the stretch Bud – Kristiansund.
