The Trollstigen road is a characteristic road work with walls of rock, and
the arch bridge over the Stigfossen waterfall is a popular motive to
photograph. The foundation blasting for the Stigfossen bridge began in
August 1933, and the masonry work was done in 1934 and 1935.
