Description

Røros church - also called "The pride of the mining town" - was built in the golden age of the Røros Copper Company. The building was finished in 1784 and is situated at the town's highest point.

The guided tour lasts approx. 20 minutes

Start: inside the church

*All guided tours are with a Norwegian guide, except Monday - Saturday at 0130pm and Sunday at 02pm in the period between June the 20th until August 15th.

Guided tours can be canceled on holy days and due to other church-related activities.

The church in Røros is one of Norway's largest, with 1600 seats. The Directorate for Cultural Heritage names the Røros church in the top ten of Norway's best known churches. 

Bookings cannot be changed or refunded.
