We will teach you how to harness your own team, and how to drive your own dog sled. Getting pulled by 5-6 stron Alaskan Huskies through the wilderness is the greatest experience imaginable. Alaskan Husky Tours is run by Markus Ingebretsen who has competed in the world's longest dog race, Yukon Quest and many other long distances races both in Alaska and in Scandinavia

The guide drives in front with his team and your team will naturally follow our guide in front naturally. No experience necessary. The trip takes you 16 kilometres through a beautiful wilderness.Arround half way we stop to make a fire, and enjoy a warm beverage, while enjoing the beautiful scenery. Here we will tell you more about the dogs, dog mushing and it´s history.  Start at the kennel at Narjordet at 9:30am or 01pm for those who haven't made arrangements for transportation.

The use of a thermal suit and winter boots is included in the price. All children are to sit in the sled. Max. 1 child per sled!
