Description

Join the venerable protected vessel of MF Gamle Lofotferga to Trollfjorden, a journey along the coastline

With Lille Molla, Storemolla and the Troll Peaks as a back drop, the trip goes up the Øyhellsundet.

At the point where Øyhellsundet meets Raftsundet, we find the impressive Trollfjord. After about half an hour in the Trollfjord, we turn and head back home. The guests spend most of the time on deck in order to take photographs and enjoy the splendid Lofoten scenery. There are many sea birds in the area and it is not uncommon to spot sea eagles.

On the return trip, we always serve a choice meal based on the genuine Lofoten cuisine.

Our menu on board is based on local food and traditions.
The meal is served from our buffet on deck.

Gamle Lofotferga is fully licensed so mineral water, beer, wine or stronger beverages may be purchased on board.

We welcome you and your friends to
a marvellous Lofoten Experience.

Base in Kabelvåg, the "Old Lofoten Town" situated a little to the west of Svolvær. The buildings in Kabelvåg have maintained their distinctive originality and are definitely worth a visit.

Season: March - October
License: 85 passengers
