Description

About Myrkdalen:
Myrkdalen suits the needs for the active family. Traditionally Myrkdalen receives more snow than most destinations in Norway in one year. At the end of previous seasons you could find 5 metres of snow in the highest parts of the ski area.

Slopes and lifts:
The ski resort contains 7 lifts (including a magic carpet), 15 ski slopes varying from easy to expert difficulty, and terrain parks.

For the children:
For the youngest you'll find a area containing one platter ski lift, one magic carpet, minipark and a forest track. In weekends and school holiday, events are held for children.

Cross-country:
If you want to go cross-country skiing, you will find 28 km of groomed tracks for this. One of the tracks, Åmotslia, is a 5km floodlit track.

Accomodation:
If you need a place to stay, Myrkdalen offer cabins, apartments and hotel rooms in different categories. In the winter of 2012, Myrkdalen opened a brand new hotel, Myrkdalen Hotel, providing the ski centre with more capasity for accomodation and new restaurants. The welcome centre hosts a convenient grocery store as well as other services.
