The Munch Museum has the world's largest collection of Edvard Munch's works, and provides insight into the artist as a pioneer of expressionism.

Edvard Munch has a unique position among Nordic painters and is considered a pioneer in expressionism.

The Munch Museum's collection, left to the city of Oslo by the artist, consists of paintings, graphical prints and drawings. By constantly changing the exhibitions, the museum presents the variety in his production.

Audio tours in Norwegian and in English.
Documentary exhibition.

Guided tours in Norwegian on Sundays from September to June at 1 pm.
Guided tours in English every day in July and August at 1 pm.

The museum closes periodically for short periods due to exhibition changes. Free mini exhibition while the rest of the museum is closed 10 September-1 October 2015.
