Bjørnholt gård

Contact information

Bjørnholt farm is beautifully situated in the Nordmarka forest, right above Bjørnsjøen lake on the dirt road from Movann, Maridalen and Sognsvann. Bjørnsjøen is a canoeing paradise with several interesting islands, and the fishing is great.

For large and small groups Bjørnholt offers tailor-made events, including barn dances, Christmas parties, Lavvo (Sami tent) parties, horse and carriage or sled, dog sledding, forest hikes, and biking and canoeing trips.

The farm is about 150 years old and the owners' family has lived in the area since the 1600s. Already in 1919 there were tourist and catering establishments at Bjørnholt.

Simple accommodation is available for up to seven persons.  Lavvos between Bjørnholt and Bjørnsjøen can be rented in the summer and autumn.
