Bøensætre is an unique example of the lifestyle of the traditional small farmer in Østfold. So unique that TV2 filmed it's "Farmen" program here in autumn 2007.
Bøensætre today is a lively cotter's farm with animals just as it would have been about a hundred years ago. You can bring your own food here, hire a canoe and enjoy the natural surroundings. In the summer there is an information kiosk with self-service coffee and waffles.
