Its main building dates from the 1700s and the rooms have been painstakingly renovated. The gardens are one of the country's best-precerved Baroque / Renaissance gardens, beatifully located towards Aremarksjøen, due north of Aremark church.

Guided tours can be arranged with Inger Lise Gløboden.
