The guest farm Bakker Gjestegård is located in the heart of Østfold, only one hours drive from Oslo, Fredrikstad, Moss and the Swedish border, ten minutes north from E18.
Bakker Gjestegård is suitable for all occasions, from wedding receptions to conferences, all year round. We focus on regional food and culinary heritage. Berries and fruits from the forest are harvested and used in many ways. We welcome you to a treat of our home made wines. Fish from the lake Øyeren nearby and game from the surrounding forests are exquisite raw materials. We welcome you to enjoy a comfortable stay in a nostalgic atmosphere with outstanding food and drinks here at Bakker Gjestegård. The relaxed ambience in the old log houses lends itself to creativity. Accommodation at Bakker Gjestegård offers an original atmosphere: * In the Black Smith House, you may choose between the “Red Room" and the Bridal Suite. This building sleeps 17, divided between 5 rooms. Here, we also offer a brand new outdoor sitting pool, heated with firewood.
* In the Baking- and Boiling House, we have six beds divided on 3 rooms. Here, we also offer a fully equipped kitchen. This building therefore is very popular with groups and families for long-term rental.
PRICES: Pr. person in multibed room incl. breakfast kr. 345.- (maks 20 pers) pr. person i dbl. room with breakfast kr. 425.- (maks 10 pers) pr. person i singelroom w/breakfast kr. 595.- (maks 5 pers) bridalsuite m/cava og fruit kr. 1250.- Open all year around.
