Description

The coastal footpath in Hurum provides the opportunity to walk along the fjord and experience both local culture and the natural environment, on the whole close to the coast. The track takes you to sites of historic and geological interest, nature reserves, beaches and gives you some good views.

The paths are simple, sometimes steep, but not spoiling the countryside more than necessary. Walkers are advised to have good footwear and be prepared for some difficult stretches. Not really suitable for biking. There are some summer W.C. facilities en route (see map). Brochure with map available from Hurum Municipality tel.32797100.
