Description

Hotel Mundal is a classic and elegant wooden hotel from 1891. It is beautifully situated in Fjærland by the Sognefjord and the Jostedal glacier, which offers spectacular nature experiences.

The area is rich in activities, however, many people also come here just to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

The village stores The Norwegian Glacier Museum and The Norwegian Booktown. These attractions, together with the hotel, tells an exiting history that is presented every night. 



The hotel has 35 rooms and can accommodate 64 guests. A three-course meal is served every night at 19.30 in the dining room and our café prepare afternoon tea with homemade sandwiches and cakes during the day. Petanque, Billiard and Rummy are popular daily games at the hotel.
During the season different events and activities are taking place all over the village.
