Description

Welcome to Hamrane cabin area, which is beautifully situated in Bjørheimsbygd, Ryfylke.

It’s the perfect place for tranquillity and relaxation, with magnificent views of the mountains and lakes. Whatever the season, you can explore well-marked trails and prepared tracks, or wander off the beaten path with a compass and map. There is a public beach just one km away.

Preikestolhytta lodge is 30 min by car, a great starting point for walks to the famous Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen). We can also recommend sightseeing by boat on the Lysefjord, and mountain walks on Kjerag. Should you wish a visit to more urbane surroundings, Ryfylkebyen Jørpeland is 20 km away, and it is only 8 km to Tau – from where a ferry can take you to Stavanger.
