Gamlebyfergen (Old Town Ferry) operates between the west side and Gamlebyen, and is a two minute trip.

The city ferries are an important part of Fredrikstad’s transport system. There are 3 of them, which operate every day.



Vestsiden - Gamlebyen

Monday to Thursday: 05.20 - 24.00.
  Every 15 minutes: 05.20 - 06.30, 09.00 - 13.00, 17.00 - 24.00
  Continuously: 06.30 - 09.00, 13.00 - 17.00

Friday: 05.20 - 01.00
  Every 15 minutes: 05.20 - 06.30, 09.00 - 13.00, 17.00 - 01.00
  Continuously: 06.30 - 09.00, 13.00 - 17.00

Saturday:  07.00 - 01.00
  Every 15 minutes: 09.00 - 13.00, 17.00 - 01.00
  Continuously: 07.00 - 09.00, 13.00 - 17.00

Sunday and Holidays: 07.30 - 24.00
  Every 15 minutes: 07.30 - 12.00, 17.00 - 24.00
  Continuously: 12.00 - 17.00
