Description

Northern Europe’s largest canyon. Hiking, riverboat trips, bus tours. The showroom is inside the mountain, above the 110-metre high dam. The dam and power plant are only open to visitors taking part on guided tours. Road closed by a barrier. It is possible to walk to the canyon from the barrier at Tutteberget, approx. 7 km. You can also walk from Gargia to the Alta River canyon – a beautiful trip over mountain plain.
