Both the yard and the farm have been awarded protected status and comprise buildings from the early 1700s. The newly restored farmhouse features all modern facilities, and offers plenty of room for 8- 10 people. Maybe it is your turn to enjoy a genuine farm adventure among the animals and old traditions. You are the farmer and you decide the pace. Øvre Kjæstad is situated close to the Pilgrims' Way leading to Nidaros. In the yard, you will also find an old storehouse providing basic accommodation for any pilgrims looking for somewhere to sleep. Let your fairytale start with “Once upon a time at Øvre Kjæstad…"
