Arendal tourist office has a list of private accommodation in connection with the busy summer season. The list is updated with this year's information, and is updated throughout the season.

* Apartment for rental at Gåsåsen, only a 5min drive (25min walk) from Arendal.
Available from week 26.

Apartment is close to a nice hiking area and ca. 6km to a beach.
Rental: 2/4 persons NOK 3000/3500 per week in June, 2/4 persons NOK 3500/4000 per week in July. Deposit NOK 4000.

* Buøya Bed & Breakfast offers 4 doublerooms with view of Tromøysund (sea). At the BBB you can start your day with swimming in the ocean before you enjoy a nice breakfast outdoors or indoors, whichever you'd prefer.  
The rooms share a common bathroom with shower, but there are separate toilets. There is also a big garden and a common livingroom which you can enjoy. It's also easy to park here, and the bus to/from Arendal goes every half hour.  
Available for rental: week 26, 28, 29.  
Price: 290 for a single room, 550 for a double room including breakfast. 
Suitable for: adults over 30 and children over 10.
