If you are travelling without a car, you can start your trip behind the Sogndal cultural centre. Follow the signs marked “Kultursti”(cultural trail) up to Åberge. From there, there is a toll road to Hølsete from where there is a marked path north-east to Krysset and then north-west towards the summit of Nuken. From Hølsete you can also head
directly north up to Nuken without following a clearly marked path. Fantastic views. Alternatives a) and b) can be combined to form a circular walk. See the mountain walking map.
